Please list all the hardware/model numbers you have either here or (preferably) in your user profile to help us narrow down the problem.
Could be as simple as having the connectors upside down on the mobo headers, or could be something completely different. Hard to say without knowing what you have.

Please list what RAM you have (how many sticks and what type), video card, power supply, any additional PCI cards you may have installed. We still do not necessarily have enough info to help you.

I don't even understand the problem?
This could be for two reasons:
a. it was worded poorly.
b. it's almost 4am here.
c. I'm an idiot.
d. all of the above.

If you would be a little more concise with your words, and be a little bit more clear on what's going on, we'd be able to help you a lot better. It has nothing to do with your age, just the intelligence you emit when you type.

Sounds like the same thing that happened when I fried my Epox 8RDA+. Later found out I exploded a row of transistors/resistors.
Could be your motherboard going bad? Try switching it out with another power supply if you can, see if that helps at all.
Sadly, I've never worked with this motherboard, so I can't really troubleshoot with experience.

I have had the exact same problem before too, but there is more than one cause for it. That is why I asked for his FULL hardware specifications.
I have a hunch, but will reserve judgement until I get more info.

Wasn't trying to be harsh. Guess I did sort of come off a little mean, but that wasn't what I intended.

Guess I just was trying to get the guy to understand that if he needs help, he needs to provide any extra infromation applicable, and try to type the question out in a decently tangibe manner.

ruigie, it was nothing personal.

That's better, but since that mobo does not have onboard video please also list what videocard you have.
Judging by what you just posted though, it could be that one or both of your RAM sticks are bad. Try one stick at a time to try and rule that out as a factor.
Is all of this hardware brand new or is some/all of it old?
Also, if you don't have a hard drive installed you aren't going to get far either.
You mentioned that you connected "IDE hard disk active LED into IDE hard disk connector", what exactly did you mean by that?

You have grounded the montherboard with standoffs if its in a case right? If its not in a case, make sure its on something at does not conduct electricty unless its just touched the area thats metal where the screws go.

This in the past has caused issues with my older boards. They power just runs through the board and then comes back to shock the board or something. I can't even tell you why, but that has caused it not to work for me in the past.

Its also something overlooked.

P.S Try to lissen to Godfoots advice and post some more specs. Maybe a picture or two. Any details you can possibly think of. Remember, the more you help us the more we can help you.
