Does Chaintech make good mobos?

I cant speak for all Chaintech mobos but awhile ago a built two customer rigs with Chaintech mobos. I just replaced the last one I put in service with another motherboard - not a Chaintech either. In less than a year. I also have a similiar experience with SOYO boards as well.........so far my money has been on MSI, Abit and Asus. Have many of those in service with only 1 bad MSI board......YMMV. I know I have seen some crazy OCs come out of Chaintech mobos though.....alot of guys here have good luck with them, just not me.

The mobo in my wife's computer is a ZNF3-250. Granted, not a 939 like you're looking at, but a Chaintech all the same. While it ran in my machine for about a year with no issues, and stil runs fine in hers, I wouldn't propose that they are the best thing since sliced bread...

When it arrived, it was dead. No beeps, no video, no nothing. The TS guys asked me to try this and that, and issued me an RMA number, no problem. Didn't even have to pay the $35 diagnostic fee they usually charge, just shipping to them. They even sent me a complete retail set for the mobo, all I sent in was the board itself...

As long as that Asus isn't the A7N8X then I will agree with the Asus.
Too bad Shuttle has gotten out of the mobo business (not entirely but they only manufacture them for their barebones SFF rigs now) as my AN35/N has been the most rock solid board I have owned.
