Default Refurbished Motherboards.... your opinions please!

I found a place selling refurbished DFI LanParty NFII Ultra's for $99.00. Does anyone here use a refurbished motherboard or are they more likely to drap out?
Thanks,
JRod

I've only gone refurbished with a monitor; it worked fine and still serves me today. But I don't know if I'd risk it on a mobo. The way I see it is mobo are way to complex and the circuits to small and fragile to be repaired. With out knowing the full story behind this mobo I'd go for something brand spanking new, you know it hasn't been used or abused and its probably worth the few extra bucks just knowing that.

Edit: Agreed if it has some form of warrantee I'd be more likely to buy it.

I'd be more inclined to buy a refurb motherboard than a monitor. The way I see it, motherboards are not that expensive. As long as it has SOME kind of warranty, like a week or something, I would say you'll be okay.

I would buy a refurbished mobo. But a DFI ultra II at $99 seems kinda steep to me.

A little better, but I would save and go socket 939 or get a new Abit NF7-s revsion 2 for $82 from newegg.
