i have an old board that i need to disable the onboard gpu but cannot because i dont have the password
to the bios is there a way i could reset the bios without this code also i would like to do this without losing any info from the hdd?

help! the onboard gpu supports video feed but not 3-d and the gpu i have for it (nvidia g-force4 mx420 64mb from bfg tech ) works perfectly well on another com of mine but thats a 466 celeron i want to put it on to the other 800 p3 i also have an amd athelon xp3200 with a radeon 9800se 256mb so it would be a joke on my newest com but my fience curently is stuck with the onboard and wants to have some games she doesnt play stuff like doom3 or matrix or wow so she doesnt need anything that advanced but the gpu i want to put on supports direct x 8 and works pretty well for even the most advanced direct x 8 game HALO

anyway thanx to anyone who has any info good or otherwise and expect some com pics of my new com soon.

duh took out the cmos battery and the install worked like a charm
