i got this AMD 2400+ awhile ago from memorylabs.com (dont buy from them) and it had a 30 day warenty because it was in a motherboard/cpu combo, anyways i got it i hooked it up and it worked for about a week but then it stoped, my friend came over and for some reason it worked going 1.5ghz instead of the usual 2.0ghz but my friend had to go and he didnt have a chance to come back over and help me figure it out, so then after about 2 weeks running at 1.5ghz and my computer would turn on but wouldnt show the bios or anything the screen was black, the monitor worked, the video card worked, and even my mobo worked, so i was pissed that it was my 2400 i called the company and they said since it had only a 30day warenty they couldnt do anything, but they would contact AMD and see if they could fix it, memory labs emailed me for its serial # and stuff but now they wont even email me back, iv emailed them for a progress report a few times but still nothing.

can anyone help me?
i hate being stuck with a friends old 1ghz and i want to buy a new video card but im seeing if i have to buy a new processer first.

wow that sucks. have you tried calling amd directly?

not yet, biohazerd is helping me out he was going to call them, but ill probably call them on monday or tuesday
