| Retired Admin In Charge of Death and Destruction to All those Who Oppose My World known as PimpRig  |  P4 MBs and OC UR opinion on best I am looking for what would be your choice for the best Intel P4 3 gig socket 478 MB. Overclocking abilities. Serial ATA. Your opinion on DDR or Rambus. I know that P4s and Rambus works well together. While posting this Im looking over the net for reviews. Im not just looking for opinions but why also.  | |

| losernoOb | Aopen, EpoX, and Gigabyte motherboards with SiS chipsets such as 645, 645DX, 648, and the upcoming 655, all are solid performers with overclocking abialities (the best being with aopen and epox) Ram wise DDR is the way to go, its cheap (relativly), effective, and its "da ****" to get; New PC3200 and higher DDR beats rambus, and the upcoming SiS 655 will have dual channel PC2700 DDr totaling 5.2GB/s. I remember from Comdex that Intel is jumping over the 600 fsb and going to 800 next. that should prove interesting. I have an Intel board but you cant OC. I might just wait. In case anyone was wondering, it is a Hyperthreading chip. Seriel ATA is going to rule. imagine 15 HDDs by just plugging them in. and no more Power cords and FAT IDE cables cluttering up your Pimped out case!  IDE | |

| n00b-ass reviewer  | Damn Duck, if you tease your women like you are teasing us with your mod...they probably slap your ass up and walk out the door. Except for a couple of them that are really just ho's looking for a good time. Honestly, don't take this the wrong way, I am truly curious. When you bring women into the Duck abode, do you show them your computer equipment? Do you brag about your mods? Do women show any interest at all in that stuff? I haven't been single for a long time (thank goodness), but am curious how the dating scene goes for a computer modding guru. Please fill me in. I don't watch soaps so this is the next best thing. | |

Thats a no kidding quote. Yea, I've shown her the mods and her reaction to the Romeo case was "Wow it's just like the one on the website!" Uh, yea. "exacty" "No, I mean it looks JUST LIKE IT!" Yea its the same one! Heh, I won't tell you how she gets me away from the comp. Let's just say I can no longer concentrate. | |
