i've heard that the AMD Athlon 64 3000 has problems runing with window XP, i was just wandering if this is true because i'm thinking about buying one.

sorry it's only a rumor i've heard so i can't elaborate anymore than that. thanks for the feedback and i'l tell the person that i heard the rumor from that they shouldnt ever listen to the intel fatboys!

Im running an Athlon 64 bit 3000+ on XP and it hasnt caused any problems to date. What a load of BS... >.>

My friend has been running an A64 with windows XP for about 6 months now with no issues..

the 3000 a64 is a really nice chip goold luck with it and whoever said that jus wishes he had one cause he has a slot 1 proc..
