| The AMD boards (the good ones, anyway) all use the Nvidia chipset while the Intel boards use mostly the Intel chipset. There are other chipsets out there that are used on both boards such as Via and SiS but are not quite as popular. The PCI-E, as far as I know, are only available for the Intel boards but I could be majorly wrong. It isn't something that I've looked into yet but there are other video Pimps out there that can tell you for sure or not...just give them some time and they'll find this thread. On motherboard that have reached the market, PCI-E is mostly only on Intel boards. However, there are plenty of test and demo boards for AMD cpus that were shown earlier this year that have PCI-E. It's mostly just a matter of time before you really see the PCI-E boards for AMD cpus around in quantity. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
