a friend of mine has an amd mobo. it will not turn on. it is very possibly the motherboard that could be the problem. it will turn on but, will not go through the post like it is suposda. we would check the ram. but the only other COMP that he has only takes SD ram. and he has DDR133. so i have one question from this scenario. if it is the MOBo that is screwed up and he has to buy another board.will the RAM fit in the new board that he wants to buy. Chaintech 7VIL3 VIA KT266A Chipset Socket A 200/266MHz FSB w/Sound/2DDR/AGP - M-ATX. and how fast of a cpu will this motherboard support. he is kinda strapped for all the cash he would like to have so this one only costs like 30 bucks. i recommended it, but you know if there is something better for about the same price. your help would much appreciated. and i am much abliged for any help.

the name of it is in my sig. I bought it off newegg for about 45 plus s/h.
