Changing Connectors

I was wondering who has tackled this mod? I am thinking about changing out the stock connectors (white blocks around PCI slots, ATX connector ect) How tuff is this?

I'd think it would be extremly difficult and i'm curious as to where you'd even get replacements in a diff color.

You would be better off painting them, which can be done where it is, or desoldering
the slot from the board and painting it elsewhere. I removed all the PCI slots from my
IS7-E for cosmetic purposes, which is one good reason to take them off for good.

Adding on PCI devices later on can be a bitch though if you decide to remove them.
