Default Dual Athlon MP Overheating?

Ok I just got a dual athlon mp 2000+ setup with a Gigabyte GA-7DPXDW board. My friend said it was unstable in windows and thought it was the temps. I mounted two cooler master copper hsf's with copper heat pipes. When i fired the system up and when into the bios it regisered one cpu as being 60 degress celsius and the other at almost 100 degrees celsius. WTF is going on here? I used AS5 and with copper heastinks with heatpipes I know I shouldn't be getting these temps. I was thinking of a possible bios flash but my friend says he thinks he has the most recent one for that board, and i'm to scared to boot into windows because I don't want to overheat the chips more than they already are. Also for some reason (my friend said it does this all the time but i'm not sure why) when you power up the system it takes almost 45 seconds for the screen to come on and POST. I have no idea whats going on here.

I think its the mobo but I wanna hear what you guys think first. I would RMA the board but i am not sure gigabyte will take it. I know their is still a year warranty on it but the the little parts on the sockets where the heatsinks clip onto appear to be kinda worn ouyt from my friend switching heatsinks so many times etc, and I don't feel like RMA'n it just to have gigabyte say their is physical damage to the board and they can't replace it or some crap. Any suggestions of what I should do in the predicament would be helpful as this rig was gonna be a full time folder.

Thansk ahead of time.

Man this sucks

I can't find the bios update for that board. It seems they no longer support it or something. WTF! I'm about to just junk this thing and buy a board of ebay. These are unlocked mp's so i would rather have the dul asus for overclocking anyway.
