Exclamation On to 3rd SOYO board, could it be the psu?

i have a like 60 dollar 500w atx 12v powersupply. I can get the exact type later if i need to to help answer the question. But i am about to be on my 3rd motherboard. I have a SOYO board and it would work for 2 days then not when i turned it off. the first board it would not post, no monitor or anything, just the koolance system turning on and power to the drives. This second one i was laying nfsu2 on it it, paused it to get some food, came back to find a blank monitor and the sound of long beeps. I tried changing ram resetting the CMOS, unplugging stuff, nothing stoped it. finally i called soyo and the guy said that the memory module was bad, so i sent it in today and they are sendong me another. is this because of the power supply. I think the comany name is aspire that made the psu. Any help would be apprectiated because i dont wanna hurt another board if that the problem. Thanks in advance

so does anyone know if thats a bad kind or brand of psu to get cause i need to find out before i get my board back so i dont have to get another one cause this is becoming expensive. I would rather just get rid of the psu and buy a new one if thats the problem. If so can anyone reccomend a good one thats 500w for a p4.

Did you try Different ram? Get memtest86 next time you get your system up and running.
