| Well, since my other board is toasted (read my other post here), I supposed I'm going to have to get a new motherboard. I went to newegg, and found the best motherboard I could find for around 60 dollars. This motherboard was the Shuttle AK32A. I just built a system with one for my friend's dad, but didn't mess with it long enough to tell if it was decent. Does anyone have any reviews for this board? I just need something that will last me another 6-12 months. Do you guys think that's a reasonable solution? PS- I don't think I will be doing much overclocking with it, I can't afford another break. | ||

| This all depends on the type of system specs you want, the aopen uses pc2700 ram while the shuttle uses pc2100 ram or pc133 ram. Both have built in audio and an agp slot. I've never owned a sis chipset motherboard, all of mine have been via from the start. Which board you get is determined by: A) if you like a certain brand more than another. B) if you need pc2700 ram support or pc133. C) which brand of chipset you preffer. The aopen board is much cooler looking if you have a window.
