Good combination?

Alrighty, coming christmas I'll be putting together a new comp and I've been looking for parts lately and I have narrowed it down to these. I really need some comments and suggestions, esp. regarding the memory.

I'm def. going with the mobo and processor. And I'm pretty sure most of you, especially Tekx, will approve of my Heatsink/fan combo.

Like I said, I really need suggestions on the memory. I'd preferably want to stay in the 160-180 range. Thanks much!

What will be the primary use of this computer?
I would probably switch the 9800se to 9800 Pro; they're getting cheaper nowadays.

The primary use will be gaming. Also, I'm going with the 9800se because it is 256-bit and I can softmod it to Pro.

Beware, sometimes pipelines are defective. Not all of them can softmod.

Is there some reason you are hanging on to the old AthlonXP platform?

You do know for about the same money you can go AMD-64...they are faster (Even at a lower clock speed)in all but a few benches if you get the Mobile to run 2.6ghz

Chaintech NF3-250 Mobo's go for 75$ (Or get the DFI Lanparty for 130$)

The Sempron 3100+ starts at 99$ OEM and the AMD64 2800+ starts at 125$

As far as your RAM goes, just make sure you get the Samsung TCCD chips in your PQI, it will list timings as CAS 2-2-2-5, it is more expensive than the regular PC3200, but will run to over 500FSB making it a good investment for the future.
