I need your opinion

I wanna build a new PC and first I wanna start with the CPU and mobo. I need a GOOD mobo like ABIT or anything like that that's RED

. So I'm looking for a good combination of ABIT and an AMD XP cpu. If you know any good RED mobos that work really nice with AMD XP maybe you can share it with me. The mobo can be between 100 and 200$ same with the CPU ( btw this will be a GAMING machine ).

MSI has red boards and I have used them for two years no problems plenty of options.

Yeah I've seen that they have lots of red board I just don't know if I should go with MSI

Death, if the color of your PCB boards matter to you much, then go here to Pheaton and find what you need.

The KT4 boards by MSI are a nice choice by the reviews I have read. Head over to www.tomshardware.com and look it up.

Well DEATH, preferably whatever is fastest is what you should get...but that's just me:
XP 2200
Corsair XMS3200 (one of their few compatible DDR400 chips)

Death. if you check out Directron.com, you can shop by the color of the PCB, on sound video, mobo, etc....

MSI is a good choice. and for $200 you can get a really nice AMD 2400+, or a 2.4b Northwood P4. its your preference as to which cpu brand you want to use. after that, check out all the normal purchasing sites, like www.newegg.com www.frozencpu.com www.xoxide.com and www.directron.com and you will be golden. All you have to do is look at an item that looks like u might want it, and with newegg and directron they usually have reviews there for you to read to see if it looks like the item for you. Good Luck with your machine, and dont make the mistake of buying in town like i did, i got shafted.

bigakita that one is ok, I had some problems with the OS and top window mod but, you know we learn from out mistakes, it won't happen again

. I posted my rig when I was done, maybe you saw it. Hey guys what happened with the gallery ? I wanna see the "older" rigs too and they are not there anymore or maybe I just don't know how to get there.
