Won't Boot...

Hi, I'm new, and I got no where to turn for my problem so I came here...anyway here's my problem...

Well, I went to restart my computer as it was acting up and instead of rebooting it turned off. Well I pressed the power button and the power light went on and the HDD activity light flickered and then went solid, the optical drives lit and did their ****, but it's won't boot. No boot **** on screen, nothing...can't get into BIOS, nothing. It's done this before, but it was fine after some reboots. It won't boot this time though. I got an Asus A7m266 mobo. I have o idea what the problem is, just know I got it. Thanks in advance for any help.

I tried clearing the CMOS. Ummm..could maybe the CMOS battery be dead, would that cause this?

Remove the power cord, jump the CMOS, plug the power in for 10 seconds, remove power, set CMOS to normal. Turn on the system while holding the insert key down.

I fixed the problem...I left my comp alone for like 5 days and turned the f***er on, no problem all the sudden...I have no idea, oh well. Thx anyway.
