Default MoBo sensors and MBM5

ok check it out, i have MBM5 running on my system, when i go to the pull down drop box listing how many sensors my motherboard has or that it detects, it lists 3.....now, i included a screen shot below, you can from my dashboard i have the top 3 labeled, CPU die, case and ?.....now my question is this, on the drop down box thats showed i have them set like this cpu die is Sis950/ite8705f -1, then case is blahblah -2, and heres the weird part, i get a temp readout from blahblah -3 which is the "?" on my dashboard, but dammit all to hell if i know what the fluck this sensor is and where its located on any of my equipment....this sensor was here before i even upgraded any of my airflow or anything....it says on the website my MoBo has 3 sensors....am i labeling them correctly? i have been wracking my brain over this for days now and just cant come to a conclusion

i have a SoYo, K7V Dragon Plus in this system....im totally lost

If i had to guess Zero, its probably the ? is probably a second case sensor, though i couldnt tell you where on the board it is. But my board has the same layout, 3 sensor, one on the CPU die, and two on the mobo for case temps.

that would make sense, being that those two sensors are only within a couple degree of each other almost all the time.....i did notice that my volcano 9 cpu fan has a sensor thats actually on the fan portion of the cooler....im not sure if its working tho....i plugged it into the cpu1 fan spot on my mobo, and i had to disable the fon off shutdown feature cause my mobo wouldnt start....

Ohhh ya, it definitly would be the hottest unless you have a small nuclear reactor in your case we dont know about.

Ive had that same problem too, It is could be a defectvie RPM sensor lead on you fan. I pluged my Vantec into the CPU fan header and the mobo would say, no fan connected, although when i pluged in another fan it worked fine.

I also have a volcano 9 on my abit kt 7 mobo and have had the same problem. I think it's because the fan is running so slow at first the rpm sensor can't detect it. Once the temps come up the fan speed increases and all is well.
