My parents are letting me upgrade for xmas, but we're kinda splitting what parts....so I let them pay for the most expensive one... the
CPU. OK, I'm going to get myself a Chaintech 7NJS
mobo, so it will unlock tbreds automatically. My two choices for a
CPU are the 2400+ and the 2600+ 333 ($110 more than the 2400+). Either one will be cooled with an SK-7 heatsink.
Which one should I get? I'll probably overclock/fiddle with the
FSB anyways, so should I just save $110 for other things (case mods...hehe) and just push the 2400's
FSB to 166 and maybe raise the multiplier a tad to make it into a 2600+ 333?
