Question Ga-7vaxp vs. Ga-7vaxp Ultra

I was just surfing through the web today and I came across the new mobo that gigabyte released, the GA-7VAXP Ultra. I was reading the specs on their website but couldn't really tell a huge difference from the regular 7vaxp.

Just wondering if anyone knew what's the difference between the two besides the 30 dollar difference?

The GA-7VAXP and GA-7VAXP Ultra are some hell of a motherboard. They are one of the best, affordable motherboard out there to date and they come with all the goodies. The only downside I have the them is the fact that I think the S Bracket only has digital out which sucks. I would've gone for one of these MOBO's instead of the MSI KT333 becuase this one is so much better, but I needed to have an analoge out, which the GA-7VAXP's don't have. So all in all, these two MOBO's are kickass.

Gigabyte also scrapped the mobo mounting holes for big heatsinks and water blocks.

That will undoubtedly run off some of the enthusiast market ( it did me!).

I noticed that Epox and Asus also scrapped the holes on their NV2 boards. Abit still has them so they will probably get my money.
