Default All Computer Problems are fixed. My brain was on my side today!

I was busy doing my 11pm ponder as I usually do and I came up with what sounds like a stupid idea but amazingly it worked. I increased the Core Voltage from 1.6 to 1.85 volts, the max voltage the duron can take apparently, with the pencil trick and i booted up with no errors. I then try to play a video and to my eyes I almost fell over, it worked. I knew my brain was useful for something. My Audio, Video, and Image problems are gone now, CPU is running much cooler than when it was at 1.6 and is running at 36 celcius Core and 32 Case. The ambient is in the low 20's. Thank you all for guiding me, I was bound to come to this sooner or later. The bizare thing was that it worked fine overclocked from 800 to 880 with the 1.6 volts for 3 months perfectly fine, and then all of a sudden decided to poop out on me. Is this a sign of aging? Anyways now at 1.85 Volts everything is fine. THANK YOU ALL for you help I really appreciate it. Now I can actually work on modding this "little" beast again.

Actually Chiquita, it makes absolutly no sense at all.

I can only think of one reason why this situation would be feasable.

Your PSU could be putting out low voltage, and your change in the settings is compensating for the weakness.

Can anyone else come up with another reason for this ?

(I have never ever used the confused smillie before)
