Please help me find info on my motherboard

yo

i really stink at finding info about stuff so could someone help me find out specs on an
Intel E139761 motherboard. what i really need to know is the largest cpu it can support.
what i know already is that it is an ATX slot A motherboard and i have a PII 266 in it now.
(it really sucks)
If someone could help me out it would be most appreciated

well, i think they sky is the limit seeing as how i found reports on ebay of them using 733mhz+ cpus, but they specify a 66 or 100mhz fsb, so if you get a new chip, make sure it is consistent with the fsb you will be using....

thx fu3lman i saw that they were using 733mhz cpu's but i wasnt sure if that was the limit for this particular motherboard.

You are limited to a Pentium III CPU and from what I can find on my own MB, it max's out at 384 meg RAM. As long as the CPU is compatible with the slot you have, it should work, and mine is a 133 MHz FSB.
Question: Do you happen to know where I can update the BIOS?

I have'nt seen a AMD slot in a while...........Nice to see people still using them....

The rig I had when I first joined PR was a Slot A 600MHz Athlon rig. I still am far behind current with only an XP 2000+ but way better off than I was then.

I've just ordered a Pentium III at 600 MHz, from what I can find, as long as it's a P3 it will work, other than that I can't say much else as I can't find any specs on the board either.
