Default BIO's Not starting

Ok so im building a comp for my friend its and athlon xp 2800+, 512 DDR, G4 Ti 4600, 120GB HD, DVD drive and its on an ASUS A7V8X-MX-SE. WEll we put it together and it turned on, but no BIOS came up, didn think much of it and i inserted the windows CD and stted the installation, well it go to starting windws and froze, then we restarted and nothing, the screen doesnt come on. i have rebuilt it twice, and changed every part in it with my computers parts. I have no idea whats goin on, everything turns on but nothing shows up on the screen, i have tried 2 vid cards and the onbaird but nothing.

Have you tried all the parts in a different motherboard?

yes and everything but the hardrive can be recongnized by my computer.

Immediately after you flip the power on, hold the insert key until it posts.

If that fails, try clearing the CMOS.
