I just looked at my processor profile with cpuid and it's telling me my bus speed is 533 when it should be 800. Does anyone know if this is a problem within the program, or if for some reason my prescott has a 533 bus speed.

that and it's showing a core speed of 1.8...while mine is a 2.8
What's the deal with this program, does it not recognize newer models?

FOR CHRIST SAKES MAN............see the little button that says EDIT.......use the FOCKER. Thats two posts in the last few hours you have rambled on in. Wait the extra minute it takes your brain to kick in and post everything all at once.

Reference your 1.8 number are you not sure thats the core VOLTAGE.

Ok, so i checked the bios, and keep in mind i've yet to touch any settings since i slapped the thing in.
I'm running a 2.8E on a Asus p4p800e-dlx
It recognizes the processor and the correct speeds, but it's running it at 1.8GHz with 533MHz fsb.
I'm looking for some info on it right now, so if you know anything offhand on why it would set that as default it would be much appreciated.

In BIOS...
Set the Advanced Tab>JumperFree Configuration>Set AI Overclocking Tuner to [Manual],
then set CPU External Frequency to 200.

Seriously, you want to know what's wrong, but you won't take 5 minutes to press delete on boot and look through the settings? Gimme a break, it took you longer than that to post here (twice).

Post a screenshot of WCPUID (you've already been asked for specs, so I won't bother), so we can see what the settings are (ie: FSB and Multiplier, etc).

The biggest reason I can think of that your FSB is lower and clock speed is lower is that you got scammed. Where did you buy from?
