| Ok pimps im making a new rig an im kinda stuck im looking at the Abit AN7 it looks pertty good! Right now im a happy owner of the NF7. But i want to check something else out an the AN7 looks good. What do you pimps think? AN7 alright or should i be looking into something else. pls feel free to give all thoughts on this! before i forget yes i am going to o/c a lil bit. 2600+ to 3200+ maybe a lil more if i can. | I have both those Mobo's... It seems to me that the AN7 is a good OC'er except it relies on bumping the voltages up more than the NF-7S... To achieve the same OC I have with the NF-7s I have to add more juice ot the AN7. But, you can really bump the V's up more with the AN7... Also, the AN7 has a newer sound chip in at and a firewire and two more USB 2 ports on the back.... I like them both, can't say which one is better though.... EDIT: BA also did a review on the AN7 board here on PimpRig... | ||

| DigitalWorld was in nearly the same situation; trying to decide between the AN7 and NF7. He had several NF7 boards and was comfortable with it, but curiosity won out and he went with the AN7. I received an email from him recently stating "This board ROCKS!" Guess he likes it. I'm using the AN7 in a rig also. I like it, it's been rock solid for me. I got my 1700XP up to 2420 on air. | ||
