| I have a Jetway V266B and Athlon 1800+, and have noticed on the mobo, that the USB 2, IDE3/4 connector have not been mounted by the manufacturers. I have contacted Jetway themselves to ask, that if I solder these connectors in, will I be able to actually use them at all, but have gotten no response from them.... So saying does anyone know anything about this at all.... I just want to be able to use the full potential of the mobo, and it would be handy to be able to run more IDE devices..... ![]() | ||

| You cannot solder your own ide/usb connectors in, there is most likely a controler chip missing from the pcb also for the extra ide connectors. If you were to attempt to solder them in, you could possibly kill the rest of the board using a typical soldering iron or from prolonged heat. | ||
