Default New Machine, Gaming

Hey guys,

Was not exactly sure which forum to post such an odd request in but here it is. A good friend of mine recently came into some money and he asked me to configure him a state of the art gaming machine. I know how to build a fairly powerful computer but I was wondering if their was any new state of the art stuff out there for gaming that would really make a difference. If any of you guys have like ideal gaming builds or state of the art builds please post them for me!!! I think I have a good idea of what I want to suggest but outside insight is always a good thing. Barring all costs what is the absolute best top of the line gaming machine you can build. Any input would be great in helping me make my reccomendations!

Basically this.

Scan 3XS Systems

Scan 3XS Great White | Dream PCs | Desktop PCs | Labs Tests | Custom PC

Three 1TB Samsung Spinpoint F1 HDDs (alongside two 64GB OCZ SSDs), a 4.4GHz overclocked Core 2 Quad Q9650 CPU, 2GB of Corsair DDR3 RAM, three 1GB NVIDIA GTX 280 GPUs and enough LEDs to light up a small basement. Oh, and it's all watercooled.

I'd change to 4GB of RAM though.

Now those are a couple of sweet rigs! Tell the guy it will be double the cost of the one reflux linked to, and buy that one for him, and get the stuff Slay linked to for yourself.

Build a rendering machine.

And for slay's rig; I'd rather have some SSDs instead of those raptors. Oh yeah, 16 gigs of ram.
