Blue screen of death?

My daughters pc a Compaq 5103cl 1.1g proc. 256 ram 40gig hd is giving me a blue screen with the vid card and motherboard monitor ports, I tried removing the mother board battery to try and reset the motherboard but no luck.

I can't nothing outa it? I'm thinking the md is trased but I'm gonna try totally disassembling it and putting it back together thinking maybe a bad connection.

Any suggestions?

Take her apart, re-wire and test. If you get nothing then, try replacing componenets one by one. But with a machine of that spec you may be better off just replacing it.
