| Life was good a week ago. Turned off the computer one night. Went to turn it on the next day... nothing. Will not POST. Get one long beep repeating (memory issue). Swapped out my XMS3200 pair of sticks for one DDR333 512Meg from my old machine. No luck. Swapped out the PSU. Still no luck. Cleared the CMOS. Still no luck. Any thoughts? | Dang, wish I could help. Seems alot of the older DFI lanparties up and quit resently. I had a nf4 expert that failed and took my cpu with it last month (fx-60). Now yours is having trouble and I seem to think somebody else on the forum just within the last few weeks lost one also. That almost qualifies as bad luck. You've done the troubleshooting I would have tried before asking for help so I don't know what else to add. Wish you the best and hope it isn't system ending. | ||

| Board could be toast. I have a LP NF2 Rev. B and it runs like a swiss watch and I'm about to upgrade it with a free SB Audigy 2 I scored. Do you have a spare processor to try it with? I think the one long beep is actually a processor issue, I know on mine a RAM issue isn't one long repeating tone, a faulty CPU is one long repeating tone on mine, though you and I are about one or two generations of LP apart they might still use the same fault error codes. | ||

| Doesn't the board have a diagnostic LED? (Don't know for sure as mine is not the expert version) I have discovered in my infinite troubles with my LanParty, that the LEDs are truly a life saver. I pretty much agree with j-dogg that it may be the CPU. Definitely something to try before you call it bad. Hope it works out for ya bro! | ||

| I do have LEDs... I get 3 showing and according to other sites: 4 LED's on = Power applied, checking CPU 3 LED's on = Cpu has been detected ok, checking RAM 2 LED's on = RAM has been detected ok, checking VGA 1 LED's on = VGA been detected ok, entering BIOS 0 LED's on = System has booted to the Operating System I'll try the battery removal for over 24 hrs suggestion. | ||

| I love my LP NF2. I bought it new from the Egg for my birthday when it had just came out. I haven't had an issue since, and when I was big into overclocking I pulled some wicked air numbers with it. LP NF2 + unlocked 2400 + Zalman CNPS + Corsair XMS PC3200 XL 2-2-2-5 w/LED's = overclocking awesomeness. I am doing another build soon, and I think I'll be getting another Lan Party, this one has served me very well. | ||
