| Hi, I have a new Gigabyte mobo GA33-DS3R and i cant find the NUMLOCK in the bios, and my LAN port keeps loosing its connection on my home LAN. The LAN is set to automatic IP address and it successfully gets an ip on the correct subnet, but it just keeps loosing it for some unknown reason. Any suggestions? Thanks | ||

| I don't know about the numlock. It may not have a setting in the bios. For the LAN port go to the Device Manager and click on Network Adapter. Then right click on the actual device. There should be a tab for power management or something simular. Uncheck the box that allows the PC to turn off the device to save power. If that doesn't help (and you have the newest drivers) then the LAN port is probably flakey or dieing. You may need to RMA the mobo or by a new network adapter. | ||

| I have the DS3L, but they should be simular. When you first enter the BIOS, press CTR F1 to enable extra BIOS options. The Numlock should be under Advanced BIOS Features. Mine does not work, the numlock light is on, then shuts off when Win boots... Maybe you will have better luck. E | ||
