| ok what i am wondering is what would give me the best performance as far as ram. i have an Abit NF7 mobo that supports dual channel. it has 3 ram dimms and so far i have 1 stick of kingston 512 3200. i am going to be getting an additional gig of ram in the form of 2X512's. from what im told dual channel is only supported on the first 2 ram dimms...hence dual channel and not tripple i suppose. anyhow..my question is: would i be getting better performance running 2 sticks of corsair and the kingston in the 3rd dimm for a grand total of 1.5GB......OR.....would i be better off running dual channel with ONLY the 2 sticks of corsair for a total of 1GB? AHHHHHH!!!! please help, thanks, lyquid | ||

| You can run 3 sticks of ddr as long as you have have 2 sticks of the same size and the last stick twice as big as the other two sticks. Then you would put the 2 of the same size in one channel and the 3rd large stick in the remaining channel. It will still give you dual channel. | ||
