Default Abit BP6 mod

Because of the design of the BP6, most larger heatsinks won't work, they are too big, and anything bigger than OEM Intel coolers won't fit. What if you could de-soldier the capacitors that get in the way, put them on the other side of the board with the same polarity, and drill a hole for each cap in the motherboard tray? Would the board still work?

you shouldn't have a problem with that j-d...as long as you're careful

A definite warranty void on that.

Well it was a free board. No warranty issues there.

ThatÂ’s just scary, but "if" it works you could make a how to for PR I donÂ’t have 1 $ to spare so personally I wouldnÂ’t be soldering anything, that includes my 10$ toaster.
