Actually this is kinda off topic - but it seems 50C is the magic top number for AMD64s when overclocking. It seems about then during overclocking situations you may suffer shutdown problems. But to give an idea - with a 72 degree room full load at stock speeds I can only hit 41c with an alum/copper zalman 7000. My 1700XP IDLED at my load temps now. But with a socket A I'd try to avoid 55C or above. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
