| So i got me a new case, a Chenbro ATX TX-1. it came with the power on wiring with LED's. well, i got it wired up to the point of 2 black small cables. one is for HD activity LED, and the other is Power on LED. i cant seem to figure out where that LED cable goes on the mobo. i have a via tecc VT82C686A. (kt133)??? | ||

| Good find AK, but his board is definitely not a EPIA. Might be the same pinout though. | ||

I second that - thats is definitely not the board he said.......usually in very small text there will be the pin out written next to the connectors. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Direct Cool Hoe | You can always get out the multi-meter and set it to dc voltage. Boot the system and take readings of the pins. when you find the full time 5vt pins you have you power. If it reads a negative 5 vts, switch the leads and remeasure. Your red probe will be your positive terminal and the black one is of course, negative. For your HDD activity light you'll have to run a program that you know is making your hdd work. Repeat the above procedure. I know this to work as I had to do it recently to a DELL system that was recased. | |
