Default Does K6-2 550mhz have Thermal Protection?

Does the K6-2 550mhz Processor have any thermal protection? I was wondering because I like to have the fan on my laptop unplugged to save battery power, and I do save about a half hour of power when the fan is unplugged but I am worried the CPU might die.

Okay thanks. My K6 slows down when it gets very hot, is it supposed to do so?

Okay. I'll only run the K6 Laptop when I'm running on battery to save power because I do get an extra 20-30 minutes with it unplugged and it doesnt get too hot as I'm generally moving about with air circulation underneath the laptop. I have cooked a hotdog on the Heatsink/Fan unit before and boy did it taste good. I love my laptop Heatsink/Fan unit because it is totally flat ontop and is very big so I can just stick a hotdog or two on and let it cook for 1-2 minutes and bam I gotta a smokin hotdog that tastes excellent and is very hot.

LMAO, now thats hilarious, an egg? HAHAHA. I just wrapped my hotdogs in tin foil and stuck her on the Heatsink and have the fan unplugged. Why the **** did sony put a desktop processor(K6) into a laptop is beyond me but meh its a good portable oven or stove and it sure gets things cooked a hell of a lot faster. I'm cooking soup on it right now. I just put the soup can ontop of it. I had to poke holes in the top of the can to let the steam escape. The Cambells chicken noodle soup should be done any minute now. MMMMMMMM it smells so good. You should try it with your old P2's(**** those batards get hot, my sisters P2 233 doesnt have a heatsink or a fan!)
