Intel Motherboard OC

Hi I have a Intel ATX DDR Main System Board and the model # is D845BG/LABEBGSTD2
1.6ghz

I want to OC it but if i remember correctly a long time ago i went inside my bios and I couldn't find any tab to OC my system. Is this because INTEL is trying to prevent me from overclocking? Or do I have to upgrade my bios? If upgrading it is the case, how do I do that?

Well first off, Intel motherboards won't OC, you will have to get a BIOS hack somewhere. Everything on them is locked. But should you manage to find a BIOS hack, there is probably a flah utility on the motherboard, I'm not sure how the Intel boards work with BIOS flashes but you will probable have to load it on a floppy disk and when you enter the BIOS flash utility type the name of the BIOS file on the floppy when prompted. Make sure it is the EXACT correct BIOS file or you will be f*cked and returning that board for RMA warranty service.
