Thats a pretty cool trick, plugging a monitor directly into a
CPU. Can you show us pics on how you accomplished this? I'd be very interested in seeing them
1. Make sure cable is plugged tightly into the
VGA connector.
2. Make sure, you have the molex plugged into the graphics cards. I beleive that card has a molex plug for power.
3. Try removing everything from the motherboard, except the video card. If you get a post on the monitor, something else may be preventing it from displaying. Then plug in one peice of hardware at a time till you discover the "bad" hardware.
4. If that fails, clear CMOS, and reboot. If something displays, go into BIOS (Usually by hitting the "DEL" key) and setup everything again.
5. If nothing works, find another video card, maybe an old PCI, and see if that works. Could be the vid card, or agp slot.
If anyone else has anything I may of missed, or thinks my method is incorrect, please tell me.
Also, I find it ironic, with a name of e1337 (which imho, should be 31337), you haven't tried simple hardware trouble shooting before comming here.
