I just got off the phone with Barry (Digi) and he told me that the BIOS V.21 for the Abit NF7-S V2.0 is a bunk BIOS. He said he was having all kinds of problems with it.And not to flash your system with it.

Ducati748 - Barry got the package.

I alos have the latest bios runing, and i am having no problems. i dont have a raid set up though, just one ide HDD.

i was just about to update from v19 to v21 last night, right before it i dicided to check the pimprig to see if anyone had said anything, sure enough here we go. Well i still upgraded it using flashmenu. when i restarted i got "cmos checksum error" so i restarted again...still same thing. cleared my cmos and everything is working great.

I've been running 21 since it came out late december, I run RAID 0 and a 2500+@2.5GHz, no problems, just a faster SATARAID initialization in this version..(Updated SATA BIOS)

yup, flashed last night, cleared cmos last night, today reset all the settings, running great

All the problems that I have seen have been with raid setups. Every single one of them.

My mobo has been on backorder for 2 weeks now and isn't expected to be in to Directron for another 2 weeks at least.
