| Apex Techie Lite | Yesterday I transferred all the guts of my Sony from its cramped, hot, fanless case into a nice brand new one. Everything went well until it was time to throw the switch to boot. I attached the Sony's power switch to the mobo, and when I press it, the CPU fan and PSU fan jump a half-turn, but that's all. No BIOS beep. The green light is lit on the mobo, so I believe it's getting power. Suggetions, please? | |

| Apex Techie Lite | UPDATE - I followed Thrill Kill's "Mobo Troubleshooting Guide" by unhooking everything from mobo except old power switch for the Sony, PSU, CPU/fan and memory. Incredibly, it posted! I added vid card/monitor, mouse and keyboard, and then HD, and was able to fully boot Windows. Still have some issues, (like hooking up new case's individual control panel connector pins) but at least the computer is functioning. Thanks, Thrill Kill! | |
