abit nf7-s or HDD or mem problem, not sure??

im running win 2k SP3. When i start up my computer and it gets to the win2k splash screen with the blue loading bar at the bottom IT TAKES FOREVER TO LOAD. It doesnt always do this....just sometimes. It takes prolly 30-45 seconds to load as aposed to the normal 3 seconds.....and when i get to the administartor login screen and hit enter somtimes it takes FOREVER to load my programs in the tray, (ie norton, norton IE securities, MBM5) i donno whats wrong, i defraged not to long ago, but ill try it again. Anyone have any ideas???

What's yout hard drive storage level? Are you over 75%?

yeah see i thought that too, looked at how much im using, im useing about 61%, i got a 40 gig and using about 22.9 of it
so i donno

anything above 50% will start to slow your machine down...Time for an upgrade!!!

ok at work i was thinking, i dont htink the drive beeing only 61% full do this spacific thing.......slowdown in the windows splash screen????
