Cpt. Planet,

SiSandra is showing that my VCore is too low for my Opteron 146. The BIOS is set to 1.375V and CPU-Z is showing a steady 1.376V to the core.

Here is a cut-n-paste of the CPU-Z. Is it possible that SiSandra is just simply wrong?

If anyone could tell me anything, I sure would appreciate it.

Core Temp

Try speedfan as well as mbm5 if possible.Wouldnt suprise me if Everest or Sandra report the wrong voltages.

Well, to validate Sandra's reporting it would seem to me to be relatively simple.

Since CPU-Z matches what your BIOS is (+/-.001V), change the BIOS by a couple thousandths of a Volt and see if CPU-Z also changes to match. Then see if Sandra changes.

I can verify that Everest reports the wrong volts on all of my mobo's. I haven't found anything that reports very close to the BIOS, although I haven't tried core temp.

Yea coretemp doesnt always read the opterons. Dont forget Opterons were just San Diegos with a different core name. Nothing else changed just binned higher.
