| Apex Master Tech | when the computer is first starting up sometimes it takes 20 seconds to detect the ide drives, plus 20 seconds after its detected them to actually boot, anything i can do about this? abit nf7-s amd 2500+ samsung 80 gig hdd 56x cd rom normal flat ide cables there both master , hdd into ide 1 cd in ide 2 | |

| Could be something to do with the power supply, is it a good name brand or Generic? How about the CMOS battery? I think you can check that voltage with CPUZ or Motherboard Monitor. Maybe it is in your Config of the drives, sounds like its re-detecting them each time you boot up. I would go check my Bios information on them. | ||
