Default abit nf7-s difficulties

when i boot up i check the bios and the cpu is running at 25C, so i start up normally and i barely see the windows load screen then it shuts down and gives me a long two tone siren, which i think usually means heat issues. any ideaS?

Have you had your board for a while or did this just start happening?
And what kinda HSF u got on it and is it hooked up to the Temp monitor on the board ?
I have the SLK-900 on my abit but I had to disable the auto overheat shutdown in the BIOS.

You're right. The two tone siren is the warning for overheating. It's also the sound you get if you've got cpu fan failure shutdown enabled in the bios. Make sure it's turned off and try again.

Yeah, I was gonna suggest disabling the CPU fan failure alarm too.
