Default AMD Athlon 64 X2 4600 not reading right!

Hello all, I have a quick question.

I recently upgraded my system with the following,

AMD Athlon 64 X2 4600
DFI Infinity UltraII mobo
2GB Gskill RAM
EVGA 7800GTX
and RaidMax PSU.

Anyway, I just noticed last night, that when I launch CPUZ it shows my CPU clock at 2.0 and not 2.4. I have not had time to troubleshoot it, but could the BIOS be set wrong for some reason or could CPUZ be reading the Dual Core incorrectly? I'll get a screenshot of it and post later today. Any ideas so far?

Thanks

Sorry, I think might be answering my own question now. After some googling it looks like the multiplier should be 12 instead of 10, 12*200 for X2 4600. That extra 2 would explain the 400mhz drop. Still not sure why it's set like that, but I'll change it when I get home and see.

And another thing, why is the HT at 4x instead of 5x?

Any chance you have Cool-n-Quiet on? On my (939) 4600+, it usually idles at 1000MHz +/-

Hmm...I didn't even notice the HT. I did find the multiplier problem. In the BIOS, the multiplier was set on Auto. So, I guess it's like the quite-n-cool and lowers the speeds when it's idle or something.
Oh, and I do have the Quite n Cool turned off, but there may be another option set to auto. I'll check that out.

This is more like it. The HT was set to auto also. After some more tweaking, this looks better.
