Default Having A Meltdown!!

OK i am finally building my new PC. Well i have hit a little snafu...
Well i am installing my RAIDed raptors from my Opteron PC into my X2 Athlon AM2.
The floppy with the RAID drivers is junk. DFI's site is useless and i am looking at a hammer Anyway, My mobo is a LANPARTY UT NF590 SLI-M2R/G. If someone here knows where i can find this freaking driver or has a coy of said driver, I would be eternally endebted to you. Because i am about to lose my mind.... i dont handle stress well (again looking at the hammer ) Please dont allow my to send 1500 bucks in hardware to the trash....

Is this what you're looking for? If it's not try a search for " Silcon Image Soft-RAID5 driver " as you might be able to get newer/better drivers.

And yes DFI's website sucks.

I think he's looking for the RAID drivers not the BIOS drivers. That was the first link I came across too.

I am not using the SIL3114 controller. I am using the onboard nvidia raid controller. it will find the drives and get me to the screen to choose what drives i want to install windows too. i choose my RAID (2 x 74gb Raptors) and it shows mw 147gb total, i choose format in NTFS, it does that, then when it get to the point to copy files to the HDD for install, it sh!ts on itself, tells me that it cant copy from the floppy. I have tried 4 different floppy drives, 1 being brand new ( Who has a new floppy anymore right?) and it still wont work. I have a little dell here i serve movies off of and it has a floppy drive. I am on a laptop right now that dosent have a floppy, so i shared the floppy, tried to copy data from the floppy, and i get a CRC error. I am going to try the links provided. I re-downloaded nlite and i am going to try to make a winXP cd that has the drivers on it.. hopefully that will work.

OK update i went here Slipstreaming Windows Easy - Icrontic.com and read the entire thing... it seems it is a problem not just limited to me. Asus NF590 AM2 boards have the same problem. I am currently rebuilding my XP ISO in nLite.... Pray For Me! (hammer is looking better)
