| Hi, here is the problem: My CPU seems to don't want to cooperate with my ASUS Q-fan. I can set Q-fan to 0 or to 70 it just don't make any difference. My bios are up to date and my MB is a P5n32-SLI SE DX. I ask intel about it but it looks like a MB problem or a software problem. I don't know what to do... | ||

| Q-Fan is supposed to decrease the speed of the fan by lowering the voltage, but this may not work on fans that have a thermal sensor built-in or uses PWM (4-pin fan connector). Try Q-Fan after plugging a regular case fan with a standard 3-pin connector into the CPU1 connector. You'll have to plug the CPU fan into another connector or plug it directly into the power supply while you test Q-fan's effect on the case fan. | ||
