Default Memory question

I got some OCZ (PC2-5400) dual channel memory. When I run cpu-z it says (PC2-5300). I haven't tried messing with the timings in bios yet, just wanted to know what you guys think I should do.

AMD Athlon 64 X2 3800+ AM2
GIGABYTE GA-M55SLI-S4 Socket AM2
OCZ Gold Series 1GB (2 x 512MB)
eVGA 7600 GT 256MB PCI-E
WD 160Gb Sata/300MB

It's not really anything to worry about.

Originally, PC5300 was the next logical speed grade, running at 333MHz (667 Data Rate), but for marketing purposes or perhaps to have an edge over the rest, it was quickly replaced by PC5400 which was rated at 337MHz (675 Data Rate).

Today, most high-end modules in the speed range are PC5400/675 while a lot of the value-priced modules are PC5300/667.

From here: Difference Between PC5300 & PC5400 DDR2 667 - The House of Help Support Forums

This discrepancy is probably because your mobo doesn't support 675mhz memory.

The board I have supports DDR2 800. So is there any reason it wouldn't support 667 as well?
IDK, I thought it could've been a problem that tweaking the ram settings could resolve.

Its just the ram, It might be 5300 but its rated at 5400! You will be fine setting it as the timings tell you, At the speed it gives you!! Just try it out!

In DDR 1 you will not find any ram that reads over 400spd ive never seen a set read over 3200, Even tho it could be 500 or 600 speed!
