Memory Mistake

I stupidly put the wrong memory module in my HP comp. The speakers made a funny noise, the screen zapped out and not the computer won't boot. When I turn it on there are no beeps, no hard drive activity, nothing. I have since replaced the motherboard, reset the bios, and purchased new memory modules but still no change. What gives? Please help me!!

Have you tried changing the PSU or the CPU?
