I think you meant XMS2 5400 not 5200..... 5400 is 667 ram and with corsair should be able to overclock to 800 Mhz.......Not sure if anyone has had those sticks up to 1066...lol Of course if you got the sticks with led's on them they don't usually perform as well. Maybe check the package and put the model number up for me... thx Digi

| The numbers that CPU-z show are 1/2 of the actual speed. In my case it shows 500MHz, my XMS2 5400UL are running at 1000MHz - 5-5-5-15 timing and I think the voltage is at 2.2V. The 5400UL use the now discontinued Micron D9 "Fatbody" chips, which overclock like crazy. According to what you are describing, the 5400C4 are running at a very respectable overclock. Well done! | ||

Yes, changing the timing to a more relaxed setting will probably allow a higher overclock. You can also raise the voltage to 2.2V, just make sure you have some ariflow around the memory.

| Thanks for the input guys, 1 more question tho, i went to chage the timings (curently on Auto) and i noticed that there are more then 4 numbers to change. I thought i w as going to set 5-5-5-15 or somthing, but it allows me to change 6 or so numbers around. The first 3 only go up to 10 or so but the last 3 have numbers that are much higher, 10+ So what do all of these mean, do i need to change all of the timeings or just the first 4 ? | ||
