Man i was going to buy 4 gb it was cost me i dont know round 500 - 100 $

This thing unbeliveable

I guess server boards as new desktop boards can only handle upto 2GB DIMM's I believe.

CL 5 isnt that a bit slow, esecially for high memory size like such, crazy price though, hopefully it goes under a grand in a couple years, i dont want the technology business becoming price gougers

Some of the new gigabite board can handle 16Gb of ram... WHY?????? Thats all i need to say!!! NO NEED... OVERKILL!! ..... Well i guess i had a few more words! .. LOL

Windows Xp can only read 3.5Gb of ram... Maybe when vista comes out it will read more....

the memory is ECC which only server boards support and makes the memory slower but less prone to errors.

I am running 3GB in my ASUS A7V8X-X AMD system and while your right it is a fraction of a peach fuzz slower its nothing you will notice...
