how do i overclock ram ?

hey everyone i got question for ya. i have 2x266 ddr 512mb ram and 2x400 ddr 512mb ram. they are all running at 266 right now. i am wondering how i overclock to get around 300-333. i have an asus a8v motherboard wit amd athlon 64 processor

If you wanted to have your memory run at DDR 333 the easiest way would be to set your FSB at 200mhz then have a divider making the memory run at 166mhz. You didn't say anything about the brand of your DDR 266 memory so you might have trouble getting that memory to run at 166mhz because the stock is 133mhz. You will need to loosen the timings of the memory(somthing like 3-4-4-8). Again you might not get the DDR 266 memory to run at the speed you want it at.

Yeah, I would say turn up the voltage (2.7-2.8v should be more than sufficient), set the timings to, say , 2.5-4-4-8, and run a 5:6 divider (or 166Mhz, or DDR333).
